A Brazilian tribal chief warns that unlawful mining in forests can have dire penalties for the remainder of the world.

Davi Kopenawa is a tribal chief and spokesman for the reason for the Indigenous Yanomami folks of the Brazilian Amazon. Their territory has been formally protected for the reason that Nineties, however in the course of the presidency of Jair Bolsonaro, there was an enormous improve in unlawful gold mining – and it now threatens to destroy every thing.
