An Israeli artillery strike hit a bunch of reporters from a number of retailers that had been clearly marked as press.

A minimum of one journalist has been killed and a number of other others wounded in a shelling assault by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, in line with witnesses and reporters on the scene.

Al Jazeera mentioned on Friday that cameraperson Elie Brakhya and reporter Carmen Joukhadar had been amongst these wounded.

“The tank shell hit them immediately. It was horrible. The scenario over there was, I can’t clarify, I can’t describe it,” Al Jazeera correspondent Ali Hashem reported from Alma Al Shaab, who mentioned a group of reporters had been clearly marked as press.
